Level 1 (TCE 1)

About the Course

Teaching Children Effectively (TCETM) Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to evangelising and teaching children. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the Course provides the methods and procedures to lead children to Christ and immediately equips the believer to begin and sustain a ministry where he lives. Student practicums are a vital part of the instructional procedure making TCE a refreshing way to train Christians in child evangelism.
Course Objectives

To provide each student with:

Increased knowledge about the spiritual needs of children;

Effective methods of evangelism;

Basic skills for organising and conducting productive children's Bible classes;

Practical ideas which make learning enjoyable for boys and girls.

All Course instructors specialise in children's ministry and are trained and certified by CEF Inc.

Course Prerequisites

To enrol in TCE Level 1 you must be:

    * A born-again Christian
    * At least 15 years of age
    * Willing to participate in all class activities including practicum            sessions

Teaching children Effectively 

Level 2 (TCE 2)

The focus of TCE Level 2 is discipleship. Students will learn how to lead children in a systematic process of spiritual growth.
TCE Level 2 Course Subjects:

    * General Concepts of Spiritual Development
    * Basic Needs of the Child
    * Confession of Sin
    * Devotional Life
    * Developing the Child’s Appreciation of God
    * Being a Witness for God
    * Teaching Missions
    * Christian Conduct
    * The Ministry of Teaching
    * Objectives
    * Bible Lesson Preparation and Presentation
    * Teaching the Message of Salvation in the Class Hour
    * Motivating Faith Attendance

Course Prerequisites

To enrol in TCE Level 2 you must have successfully completed TCE 1 and be:

    * A born-again Christian
    * At least 15 years of age
    * Willing to participate in all class activities including practicum            sessions 

Super Seminars

• Super Seminars are dynamic modular training sessions for Children’s Workers, Scripture Teachers and Sunday School teachers. 
• Super Seminars include 26 dynamic training sessions for Children's Workers.
• Super Seminars are available from any CEF Office and can be run in churches, halls, homes or anyway a group of teachers can gather.
